July 11th - Shinjuku and Odaiba

Funny lecturer *about vitamin B12 supplements* - "Vegans might want to consider taking these since you really only get vitamin B12 from animal products. The great thing is the synthetic supplements are produced by fermentation of bacteria. Unless you're against eating bacteria too. In that case, I don't know because I don't understand vegans."

Today's post goes from this photo here to here --- log in to see them.
Feel free to ask me any phrases, words, or questions you want to know how to say in Japanese! I'll try my best to figure it out and help.
Woke up at 8:05, went and got breakfast from the convenience store at about 9:08 and we were able to leave the house at 9:30 (after I finished breakfast). The onigiri is smartly packaged so that when you unwrap it, you effectively pull out the plastic that separates the nori from the rice, preventing it from becoming soggy.
Headed to shinjuku metropolitan building and went up the tower, took pictures and didn't get Tully's coffee lol :( Probs left 11:30-11:45 and headed towards shinjuku station for comme ca which ironically is directly in front of JR station and near the sweets paradise ad I kept seeing in 2013. Picked out this dress that looks like one I own, but longer.
While I was getting dressed the shop worker was talking to rosemary who was outside lol like how old are you etc and Rosemary's like I don't speak japanese (in english) lol so I heard him ask where she's from and some other questions. Eventually I came out and he decided to play barbie doll (ie. pick out clothes to make an outfit) and I had to put on a white cardigan which rosemar laughed at, and he brought over a denim long sleeve with a tie up bottom, and nice shoes. Once again, a clear example of Japanese people wanting to cover you up if it's a top or dress with thin straps!
After that we ate lunch and there was some annoying girl tapping her ring repeatedly on the table (you don't understand until you hear it). After that we took the yamanote line to osaki where we then went to tokyo teleport. We got to osaki station like 7 to 2 and the train came at 1:55 but we missed it cause rosemary went to the toilet ==
When we got to odaiba, we headed towards decks first, where joypolis was. Had a look around up and down the sea side and island side mall but to me the shops were pretty uninteresting (clothes, shoes, lots of food but we weren't hungry).
Next, went to aqua city where they had disney shop and there was a shop rosemary bought a 2800 clip to go with her yukata. After that, we passed by duty free shop and rosemary bought a tonne of sweets and I bought normal tokyo banana and the choc brownie version. We also went past this shop that had a cool big bean bag cushion-y thing where you prop it up, then fall back and sit on it.
After that we went to look out at rainbow bridge and the statute of liberty, saw a street performer and then headed towards diver city where we took pictures of the gundam and went inside for takoyaki. Next we went to palette town and then to Venus Fort. Went to eat at a "hawaiian" place called Halemoana where rosemar and I both ordered the fried potato "nachos" which had beef, chilli beans, cheese and sour cream (we always somehow end up ordering the same thing, guess we just have the same taste). Was sooo good. Also got yuzu honey highball (shochu!!) and rosemar got grapefruit highball. As usual we got pink and a little retarded after only one glass, since we started singing random crap. (EDIT: What I do NOT remember this).
We started eating at like maybe 8:30 but only left the place at 9:52... we went to go take pics of rainbow bridge again (and you could see tokyo tower behind it) as well as the lit up trees in the surrounding area and went down to the beach to take closer pics. Also for some reason outside decks, they had this weird arch with light projected onto it with sea animals and they move/react when you "touch" them on the wall (probably some camera sensor).
Left at about 11 and got home at exactly 11:59 according to elevator clock, since I stopped by nearby supermarket and rosemary went to conbini.
It is now 1:33 and I still have to transfer photos and budget and miscellanous stuff before sleep which means probs sleep at 3-3:30am.
