cards and letters
written on Friday, April 21, 2017 @ 10:14 PM ✈

If you didn't know already, I am in the middle of doing a massive tidy up of my room. Actually I just finished but the process took weeks. And by clean up, I mean EVERY surface and EVERY drawer. Like actually sifting through each and every item and debating whether to keep or where to move it.

Anyway it is super tiring, more than you can imagine.

But what I wanted to say is that I have so many cards and letters from people (birthdays, christmas, camp, etc) and reading each and every one of them just reminds me how grateful I am to have such wonderful friends and people in my life. Some cards came from people I may have only been close to for one or a few years in high school, and haven't really talked to since which is kind of sad, but I'm thankful we were at least friends for that time.

Also, most people might think it's tacky to put the date/year on cards but it's actually super useful haha. I like knowing when cards were written, especially as I'm reading them again years on. ALSO please sign your name. I have a few cards that end with jokes at the end about how I'm supposed to know who it's from and I can say... years onward sometimes I don't know and that's sad T_T
