So two days ago I had to take the kittens to the vet because one of them had come down with the cat flu. However, upon reaching there the worst thing ever appeared. My enemy - the "rear to kerb parking only" sign. Had a mini heart attack because I cannot do rear-first parking for my life (oh and I was the only one in the car and hence also driving).

Thankfully I did it and no one's car suffered any damage. Also parked straight and it was equal distance from the cars on either side. Whew.

The vet was nice and we joked a lot.

Also whenever I find a pink hair of mine fallen out, it looks completely unnatural and weird.

As per my usual holiday self, I post a lot less because there's nothing to talk about lol. The only things that have really happened since the last post is that I've been making food (can't be bothered putting pictures here though) and that I have already fulfilled one of the points on my summer to-do list which is to foster kittens!

I've got two right now and they are the most precious things ever. Going to be sad when I have to bring them back in a week's time.

Christmas is on in less than a week and I feel nothing..

My eyes were completely swimming yesterday. I FINALLY cleaned out my phone photos properly. Started with 649 mb free space to 3 gb. Went from 4000+ photos to 800 something. Took me 3 and a half hours.

Never again.

So far the holidays are pretty satisfying, I just do pretty much nothing and that's golden for me. Other people have so many plans and pretty much everyone I know is going overseas (and those that said they weren't, well they pretty much all ended up planning trips anyway). So yeah if anyone isn't going overseas then you are one of the few like me (ww).

It was my friend's birthday party yesterday and it was my second time eating an unbirthday cake. Her family makes really good hosts, they're constantly asking if we've got enough to drink (lol) and despite so many new faces for them they seriously remember your name after only saying it once o_o I'm so bad with names that to me that's extraordinary.

Also (re)watched Naruto the Last since the dvd arrived and hmm, there were feels I suppose but I'm more excited for when Boruto gets its dvd release.

Had a baking day last Friday which was the first time I ever did such a thing.. It was fun! We made carrot cake (that 400g of sugar though haha), chocolate pudding and cinnamon rolls. No pictures because I'm lazy. It feels super awkward making food in front of others since all I ever do is cook/bake by myself haha. Used my ice-cream machine for the first time these holidays. Hopefully going to make more but I need mum to clear out the meats and fish in the freezer x_x

So this afternoon I struggled with moving the dvd player from one tv to another (I plugged it in correctly but only the audio works, turns out one of the ports is broken) and just then my dad turned on the tv to watch his chinese satellite stuff and blamed me for somehow unplugging his thing because apparently the sound didn't work?? But I didn't even uplug anything but the dvd player. The real cause? He muted the thing himself, it wasn't me unplugging ANYTHING =="

The dead giveaway was the fact that a mute symbol on the tv screen means you have muted it and not that the audio cord is unplugged (what tv would even show that). GG dad

I usually don't watch anime because I'm not good at watching things for long periods of time. The only thing I can keep up with is Naruto and I won't dedicate myself to much else. In fact in my life I've probably watched less than 10 anime series (and they're all short ones). 

But that just means you can tell how much I procrastinated and struggled through the exam period because not only did I finish 3 different anime in that time, I also read two light novel series (which had 3 books per series). Now that it's the holidays it seems that one of my new past times is reading light novels. And by light novels, I mean Japanese light novels that have been translated into English. Even though they're called "light novels" they're still a good 150-200 pages (once translated). I honestly commend the people that translate the novels (they're done by people online, not by an official company or anything) because just imagine the descriptive language and such of novels...but in a different language.

If I could read a light novel in it's untranslated form I would be so happy T^T But I'm still on conversational stage and anything beyond that is above my head.

Also another thing I discovered (and procastinated with) during the exam period.... Voiced manga o_o I didn't even know that was a thing but it popped up in the suggestions on youtube. It's basically manga but the characters are voiced (hence why it has to be in video format, with pictures of the manga onscreen with voices as audio). Obviously the manga was Japanese but the twist was... the onscreen Japanese captions of the manga had been covered with some European subs (either French? German? not sure).

So I couldn't read a thing onscreen and had to rely solely on the voices. Happy to say I got 98% or 99% of it yay. So yep, looks like basic conversational stuff is okay just not technical stuff like in novels > >
