Feels bad
written on Saturday, May 27, 2017 @ 11:16 PM ✈
Only slept less than 7.5 hours in the last 48 hours. Feels bad.
Even though people seem to know me as someone who sleeps late or very little, boy do I feel really bad right now. I forgot how it feels when I get even less sleep than usual. The world starts spinning a lot and I feel so weird and disconnected in the head. I suppose it's sort of similar to what it's like when you're drunk but not the same (I've never been drunk but I'm talking based off what I think it must be like).
Anyway the concert was the best, totally worth. So happy I got to finally see them, especially after that time in 2015 when we had already planned our Japan and Korea trip then they decided to come to Australia and I completely missed out x_x Devastated doesn't even cover it. Will never get over that time.

Cleaning up my old files naturally means finding a lot of old uni memories.
That time in 1st year when we had to get Q fever vaccinations which are known to cause swelling. And boy did it swell. Lasted a week and it was so painful, I couldn't even sleep on that side, nor really lift things without pain. People would ask me what the hell happened to my arm.
That time I accidentally touched stinging nettles while trying to pick up something at placement at Mudgee farm. It's a hard sensation to describe, but if I had to, I'd say it's like a really sharp and intense stinging sensation just shoots up my arm. The ridiculous part is that I didn't successfully pick up whatever I dropped, and having not realised I just brushed past stinging nettles I bent down to pick it up with my other hand, only to brush it again. So I ended up with the same lumps of pain (but fewer) on my other hand. The stinging was so bad, it lasted for a week and there's not much you can do to relieve the pain or itch.
When I came back from Mudgee I had these strange brown spots all over both of my legs, arms, hands and fingers. I still don't know what they were from (and no, they don't wash off).
I'm sure most people would've seen this one by now. Got this lovely scratch (there was more on my right arm too) from a cat during my Cat Protection placement. On the right, the healing scratch. And no, don't say "cats are bad blah blah look what they do" because it happened when a cat got out of its cage in isolation, and in my panic of not wanting it to wander the isolation room (and pick up some nasty diseases) I grabbed it in haste which of course would scare it so I got this. Honestly it hardly hurt, the pain isn't what annoys me but it's the healing process because it itches SO BAD.
Horrible memories of those gruelling weekly three hour chem labs. At least this demonstrator in charge of us was decently funny though 1) is hard to satisfy because chemistry is not fun x_x
That one time I was sitting on the train going back from uni and I saw this person sitting in front of me. I have no idea what that shirt is, but does it not look like the baulko sports uniform?? She looked older than a high school student so it shouldn't be, but what kind of shirt out there has a yellow collar with a fluro-ish green shirt??

I feel like I don't have much time left.
I've been trying to tie the loose ends of my life since the beginning of April. As already mentioned in my last post, I've been doing physical clean up for most of April, and it was a long and hard task of cleaning all drawers and every surface of the house that has my stuff in it and looking at every individual item and deciding where it goes. On top of that there were eight boxes of my stuff under the house, which was not fun to deal with.
Anyway, I finished the physical clean up and since the beginning of May I've been doing a digital one. The same process of looking at EVERY single individual item but instead, on all the laptops I've ever used, the laptop I'm currently using, and the hard drives. Going through every single folder, refiling or trashing every single item. Also not fun when I have two or more copies of stuff and I have to check which is the most updated, what's missing and what's what before knowing I can safely trash some. I don't even know which was worse - cleaning up the physical or digital stuff.
Anyway I came across an old playlist of 2012 music and man, music actually used to be more about lyrics and I don't know, it used to be more mellow and easygoing. These days, music is always really "harsh" and too electronic. I miss 2012 style music.
