You know what I don't get? Who translates game titles from Japanese to English... Cause I understand the titles can be completely different but for some reason, I just expect the title to be the "english translation" of the Japanese :/

Anyway, in  Japanese my forged wedding is called 誓いのキスは突然に (chikai no kisu wa totsuzen ni) which literally translates to something like "A sudden kiss of oath" and as you can see, that is no where close to "my forged wedding." o_o

Oh well, enjoy these commercials I found for the game:

And here's my translation if you're interested. Sorry if it doesn't make sense at times. I find sometimes it loses "the feeling" when you translate from one language to another :/ I can't really explain it. I also find I have difficulty translating stuff to English because I don't really translate it in my head anymore and just kind of understand it in Japanese T_T Anyway here we go (note: may be kind of a bit too literal?)

-----------------

Gosh that was a lot of text. I find it weird that it mainly focuses on Yamato and Saeki (except the beginning and end where Takao finally gets his "kiss of oath" lol) and like only once was Ren in it. Yuta and Kuni were like non-existent o_o And Kuni's not even in the "poster" (or so that's what I call it, don't ask me why) --it's the same as the part at the beginning of the video

See? No Kuni. Anyway here's another video in which it's animated. I find it a little creepy that their hair and eyes are randomly moving lol. Also many people went crazy when they saw this video because they heard Yamato's "voice" and they assumed they were introducing a "voiced" game and people were like "omg can't wait to hear Ren's voice" etc. At first I was like what they have voices now o_o Then I realised it was just for the purpose of the ad cause otherwise the game would cost a lot more because they would have to hire voice actors to read all the lines. So yeah guys, it's just for the ad not the game...

Translation under the video...

と結婚してください。
boku to kekkon shite kudasai
Please marry me.

一ヶ月だけでいいから。
ikkagetsu dake de ii kara
Just one month will be enough.

頼む、妻が必要なんだ。

Please, I need a wife.

彼を助けるために、この愛を誓いますか?
kare wo tasukeru tame ni, kono ai wo chikaimasu ka?
In order to help him, will you vow your love to him?

いってらっしゃいのチューは?
itterasshai no chu wa?
Where's my goodbye kiss?

偽りから始まる
itsuwari kara hajimaru
It started as a lie

本当の恋
hontō no koi
but it's real life

Sorry I ceebs translating the last two sentences lol, it's just about how you can download or search for the game. To be honest when I first heard Yamato's voice I was devastated because when I heard it, I suspected it to be the voice actor Midorikawa Hikaru-san's (緑川 ) voice and I was like nooooooo. And I read the description box to the video and it confirmed my suspicions T_T Oh by the way I always misread his name as "Hikari" lol (which means light)

So why don't I like his voice? It's not that I hate it but it's because I know he also voiced Yoh in this other game (SS in Spring, which I will get to later) and I didn't really like that character :/ And because I didn't really like that character I found his voice to be annoying at times... So now I'm sad that the voice of a character I didn't really like is the voice for a character I do like, even though it's just one ad I will now know that fact for forever :(

So for you to get an idea, here's Yoh:

He's the one with red hair. Here's chibi Yoh (obviously still the one with red hair):

I have to admit that I love their uniforms (first picture). I wish we had cool uniforms like that. Anyway the thing about voice actors is that they have to make their voices a bit different each time they voice a different character right? Otherwise you'll feel like the character sounds like some other character and then you can't really get a feel for this character's personality and stuff because you'll think about the other character (if that makes sense). Well maybe it's just me but sometimes I find that voice actors don't sound "different enough" when they voice different characters :/ So basically what I'm saying is that Yamato still sounds like Yoh to me :(

What does Yoh sound like? Here's a one minute clip, the first few seconds has no speaking so you can skip that part. Also I'm sorry it's in video format eve nthough it's just audio and not video, freaking blogger doesn't have an "upload audio" function, only a video one ==

EDIT: took me a damn half hour (stupid blogger) but I found a way to put in audio hurray T_T
