MFW: Yamato's route

So in otome games you kind of pick a character's story you want to play (otherwise known as a route). The first one I ever played was Yamato's, who turns out to be the resident tsundere in this game. What's a tsundere? I'll let Kuni do the talking:

^yup pretty much sums it up. Anyway, the thing is, your uncle is kind of dodgy (no seriously). He says he'll help you to get a job but only if you do a favour for one of his friends first. So the MC has to pick a person to help without knowing what the favour is (although you can already guess from the title). It's funny because Kuni is all "yeah these guys need your help but you can actually only help one of them", makes sense to you right?

So basically in this route the MC is like "okay I'll help Yamato" and everyone else is like "awww I wanted you to help me" while Yamato's reaction is just "hmph I knew you would pick me." Okay then o_o So the MC wants to know what exactly he needs help with but he sidesteps her questions several times with "errrr....." and then everyone basically ignores the MC's questions and they start watching some baseball game on TV. Their favourite team wins and to celebrate, Kuni brings out drinks for everyone.

 Now here's the part I like :D I feel sorry for the MC because when it comes to this company (the one that developed this game), they always like to make her "inferior" to the other characters (I'll explain what I mean when we get to the other games). Like for example in this game she's jobless and they like to make fun of that sometimes T_T But I find her one "redeeming" value hilarious. Everyone orders beer except for Saeki who has red wine (because he has sophisticated taste or something lol) and Takao who orders shochu (I don't really get alcohol but it's something similar to vodka). What does our MC order?

Haha I love this MC. It's a pity the MCs in the other games aren't like this one (one sip of sake will get the other MCs drunk). Anyway remember this for later ^^ And there there Takao, it's okay.

 So FINALLY Yamato gets to the point about the "favour" he needs which is:


And MC gives the typical reaction which is "what the hell I can't just randomly marry a stranger" Now this is exactly when your OH SO NICE uncle (sarcasm) kindly reminds you that if you don't comply with this outrageous favour, hey no job for you.


See what I mean? They're fully loving how she's the jobless one needing help x_x And wow why is this uncle of ours so okay with selling the MC off to a stranger... it's like human trafficking <-- MC's words at some stage. So thanks to that pressure, MC is basically like "oh well it's only a few days, and if it's so I can get a job I'll do it."

 I seriously applaud this MC, when I played through this again I realised she got over it pretty quickly and it truely could have been a whole lot worse. Like in real life you probably wouldn't agree so easily and if our MC did that then there probably would be a lot of spam about "oh no I can't do it blah blah blah" and god I would eye roll and press the godsend "skip" function through it all. ＼( ^o^)／

Now off we go to live at Yamato's place!


 Nice going there MC lol and good idea about the sign, I totally want to see that happen xD. Anyway that's enough spam, continued next time.
