To argue or not to argue. When you know someone who does stupid things, all you want to do is tell them to stop. But of course if it was that easy, they wouldn't be doing that in the first place if they really wanted to stop. So then obviously you argue about it because you can't see eye to eye.

So what to do? Continue arguing and give myself a big ass headache (which I did today) or leave them be and save myself the time and the trouble. I really feel that some people just cannot be helped.

Well I wasted my time today.

This quote I just saw on tumblr is probably really relevant to how I feel right now:

“But eventually you learn that you just can’t save anyone no matter how hard you try. People have to want to change, they have to want to do better, and to be better. All you can do is love people and pray for them and be present when they need you. But you can’t save them; at the end of the day, we all have to save ourselves.” - Kovie Biakolo

Though I'm not sure about the part where it says "be present when they need you" because frankly I think I can't be bothered anymore and besides, if they did need me then they'd listen to me in the first place.

Sigh.
