people are funny things

Before I get started I have to say why why WHY don't I get to spend my last day before placement in peace? I just wanted to do my packing and say goodbye to the internet T_T BUT NO as usual today of all days, we have to go out to a relative's house for dinner (it's okay but I want to be at home) and someone is coming over because they need me to buy something for them on the internet. Doesn't sound too bad except it's for their son who is unusually picky about the product they want and drags the simple process into at least 2 hours no joke SIGH

Okay now back to what I actually wanted to write about. You know, my sister is freaking hilarious. Right on the week before school, she needs me to buy her a bag and shoes online (I'm in charge of paypal related things). Only problem was that the bank account we use for paypal only had $13 in it which wasn't enough so I had to transfer money in. Except for some reason it didn't process instantaneously so I told her to wait until the next day.

Next day comes around and money still isn't in which was weird so I thought we'd wait another day since usually it can take a couple of days. Day after that, it's still not there so we just transfer it again and then we can buy the stuff. Note that during this whole ordeal everyday she's being rude and demanding like "is it in YET??"

And so after all that, school finally rolls around aaaaaaaand the stuff still isn't here. And so beginning from the day before school starts, I get to listen to this coming for her at least 3 times a day "well is my stuff here yet?!?!" It's a pity I can't portray the tone but it pisses me off because it's not even a question, she just says it in a way that's meant to alert you to the fact that it is NOT here and that it's somehow my fault.

And you know what? I don't even care. Your anger direct towards me is freaking hilarious because you think it's my fault you didn't get your items because of the delayed transaction when YOU'RE the one who decided to buy it just a week before school. Sure, most people can get their items within a week but you're still supposed to do things earlier NOT the week before school. And secondly not ONCE did you touch any of your books and study this whole holidays which is just stupid because you had all the time in the world to catch up/ get ahead. Even though I wasn't the best student I'm sure I didn't go the whole summer holidays doing nothing.

So after 3 days of her non-stop annoying "well is my stuff here yet?!?!" I cracked it and I'm just like "how dare you blame me when you're the one who ordered it late, do nothing in the holidays and on top of that you care about these material things but not your study" or at least something along those lines. Also you should note she has at least 5 bags already that are usable for schoolbooks. Ugh whatever at least the stuff arrived yesterday afternoon so I don't have to listen to that crap anymore.

Thankfully dad and I always have similar views and he was pretty pissed she did no study the whole holidays and that she tried to blame me for not receiving her items on time.

Also yesterday my dad and I went out to the asian grocery nearby to get some chicken and since it only has a small parking lot, there's always a lot of cars just waiting for someone to leave so they can take that spot. In any case we were second in line, waiting to order after the lady in front of us and then this other lady comes out of no where and cuts in front of us?? I'm pretty sure she had the full intention of ordering after that lady in front of us (ie. before us) but just as the first customer was about to receive her order the lady who tried to cut suddenly goes "ah!" and runs out the door o_o

And as I watched her, she ran to her car which was parked right in the MIDDLE of the car park (as in, not in a legit spot but blocking the way for cars to actually enter/exit the car park). What on earth?? I think she ran back because a car left and she took up a real spot and then came back but luckily by then dad ordered already. But afterwards when we left I saw another car parked in the middle of the car park with no one inside. What the hell? You're not allowed to physically get out of your car and leave it like that in a non-legit spot don't people know that x_x

And when I laughed at that and told dad he's like "I don't even care that she left her car like that but she's not allowed to push in like that without even saying anything." And he was like if she had actually proceeded to order he would have told her off and I was like o.O Maybe I'm a pushover when it comes to these things because I always figured it was too much of a hassle to bother telling the person off so I was surprised at dad's reaction since normally he's quite easygoing. In the end, he's just like "ugh this is the problem with chinese people they just think doing these things is okay" and once again I laugh because it sounds funny coming from someone chinese.
