To watch the dub or to watch it with subs?

Now THAT is the age old question.

Hehe since I got bored I'm watching old anime that we used to watch on TV as kids. I guess for nostalgic  value I watched the first season dubbed but the seasons afterwards I watched with subs. There's quite a lot of difference between the two, I found out that when they did the dubs they cut out scenes that were too "violent" and stuff O_O

Also now that I've learnt some Japanese I find some parts of the dub ridiculous like when the character goes "oh my god, I've been craving a chocolate covered riceball for a long time!" even though the riceball clearly has a label that says "tuna mayo" in Japanese on it. Also chocolate covered riceball really that's just gross.
By the way, if you wanted to know I was rewatching Digimon again HAHA*^ワ^*) This is the only time I'll watch something in dub though, only because I got used to their voices as a kid and hearing their Japanese voices is a little strange. But I did watch the sub briefly as well and I never knew Tentomon spoke in Kansai dialect?! Kero in Cardcaptors speaks it too, if you listen to it it's quite entertaining!
