recent update :
it's been a while!

I guess mostly my close friends would know this but I started working in year 9 since that's when I turned 14 (and that was when you could get a job). I worked there for about 6 months and then found a new job and worked there even until year 12 (though I didn't work there as much in year 12 because lousy HSC). Then when 2013 hit I stopped working all together after about March because my boss found some new people and I also wanted to see how uni would play out.

So 2013 was quite the weird year for me, it was the first time after 4 years where I for once was jobless. I didn't go out and find a new job either since I guess I just wanted to take a "break" but MAN I felt so lazy being at home while my sister went out to her job (did I mention she found a job late last year?). Last year was also weird as that was when most of our grade from baulko went out and got their first jobs so it literally felt like everyone was working but me... Also one of my friends asked me for my resume so she could use it as an example to write her own and wow, when I looked at mine it was full of old achievements and was so outdated because I never rewrote it after I got my job in 2010 OTL

Buuuuut I've started working again since last Saturday! My boss needed more people so he's called me back haha. I don't know about you guys but I thought I'd get tired of working when I go back, because after a while it just becomes something you "do" and kind of becomes less "exciting" after a while? I don't know how to put it. But never underestimate how satisfying working is!

Ah that's right, it seems my boss' son (who calls himself DJ) isn't going to be working there anymore that's why my boss is looking for some more people. I actually quite like my boss' son cause he just has that kind and warm personality and he's always the one to say hi to me when he comes in through the door. He also got 99 point something UAI, did commerce/law and apart from that I have no idea what he actually does for a living (his day job) because I never asked lol (yep that's why they call me unsociable). I'm guessing he graduated a few years back but not sure when exactly.

So today I went in to work as from now on I'll be taking over his class on Tuesday afternoons. Today I didn't do too much but just watched how he conducts his classes and you could tell the kids were kind of bummed this was their last lesson with him D; The lesson was quite fun and reminded me of that time in year 11 and 12 where I spent lunch times at baulko tutoring maths to Marcella (a girl who was 2 years younger than us) except the only difference is there are more kids in this class lol.

Kind of glad I get to teach maths since that means it will help me to remember it instead of just throwing away everything we learnt even if it is only year 8 and 9 maths lol. I don't know, even though I don't need maths anymore it's too sad throwing it away. At the end of the class DJ told me I'd be fine looking after his class from now on and that I'll be great. Nooo can't believe I won't see him around at work anymore T_T

Btw I love how the kids call me "miss" even though I told them my name haha. And how when I came in through the door one kid asked me "miss, what year are you in?" They probably didn't believe it when I said I was in uni OTL but it's not like a year 12 student would be allowed to teach them. Best part of today was when one of the kids said "miss, I like your hair" :')
