痛みで苦しんでいる/itami de kurushinde iru = suffering in pain (╥﹏╥)

My tongue is still giving me grief. Every meal, I eat half of what I normally eat since I'm in so much pain. I must also seem even more anti-social than normal since I'm forced to give the most minimalistic answers to save me from talking :( The weird thing is at work it didn't really hurt even though I had to talk a LOT more (I just tried to ignore the pain) but as soon as I came home it hurt a lot again ugh.

Anyway yes, got home at the ripe time of 8 pm lol. Work was so fun! The boss/ principal's name is Karen and just as she predicted in yesterday's phone call I got lost OTL But!! This time I didn't get lost in a straight line, it's just that I found my way to the centre but the actual entrance to the place is in a really obscurely placed staircase place thing... But yeah luckily she helped me out over the phone and yeah she's a really nice lady!

Hmm so today I had year 5, 6, 7 maths and I saw one of the teachers there that was at the "new teachers meeting" we had a while back (I never saw him again after that). I wonder if he recognised me? I also saw some other teachers there that used to work at our branch! Maybe they moved or they teach at both? Since I don't work behind the desk anymore I'm not in touch with these these anymore haha (ㆀ˘・_・˘)
Year 5 was quite good, not quiet but not awkward either (´`) They're just hesitant to ask for help but every class I have is like that D: Not much else to say, they really weren't any trouble! Year 6 was next and when I went into the classroom the guy teacher there (I think he's around my age? He looked young) randomly asked me if I wanted chocolate and since that was so random I just answered yes without thinking but I don't even really chocolate?? But it would have been a bit rude if I refused Σ(゚д゚lll)Anyway I still don't know why he was giving out chocolate, how random lol.
So apparently today was the selective test and I would have totally not known if the kids didn't tell me. Btw, I still find it funny that I'm being defined as "she went to baulko" to these kids? But they're also always asking me where I went to for high school and couldn't care less about uni lol. Anyway there were only 2 students in that class since some didn't come as they finished selective and we finished marking all the homework in 12 minutes flat and I was like uhh what do I do with the next 50 minutes O_O
And somehow we started doing this question in their books - this typical one about having 9 coins/balls/whatever object and how one is defective and you can only measure it on a scale a limited amount of times to work it out. I did that question once!! And so we did that on the board for a bit and somehow we got on the topic of riddles??? And since we finished our work they gave me some, and I gave them some riddles and IT WAS SO FUN. Words cannot describe. If you guys knew me well in year 11/12 then you would know I liked to tell riddles sometimes (ones dad told me) and I loved doing them too so I honestly loved how we were doing riddles with the year 6's today ^^ But only sad thing is since I haven't done riddles in so long I legit forgot 98% of the good ones I knew and I didn't have much to give out T_T

In the year 7 class I found it weird that they were all shorter than my year 6's LOL They were a little rowdier but not too much, and these guys were also egging me on for riddles right from the bat!! I don't know why all these kids love riddles so much?? But mentally I was like *what, did these kids find out I did riddles last class? o_o* Anyway it was hard to mark their homework since it was all about drawing nets and 3D shapes and some of them struggled (lack of imagination maybe?)
But we only had time for a couple of riddles, not as many as the year 6 class. Oh and in the year 6 class one girl asked me how old I was and when I told her, she said I looked very young! I told her that many people tell me I look like I am "x years" (younger than I am really) and she's like "do you find it offensive then?"  To be honest I always find people's thoughts on my age hilarious but anyway more on that another time. But yeah the year 6's told me they had great fun today :)

The year 7's also were like "miss, why are you so nice?" and I told them it's because they are nice and they said "you should see us normally!" Haha now I wonder what they're normally like. So I asked them if I should be meaner and they said no xD They also told me they had fun today hurray !ヽ(≧ω≦)ノ

Afterwards Karen told me if she ever needs my help again she'll call me. I don't think she'll call any time soon though since I don't actually work at that branch and I'm pretty sure I was just stepping in for the teacher who was away! Also working on Thursday night is tiring but I would totally love to come again because the kids are so nice! (*´ω`*) That branch is smaller than ours though, the corridors can get narrow with two people crossing !
