Okay so the prize reception wasn't TOO bad, except for a few "minor details." First off, the email with the pdf instructions fully made it sound like "get there at 5:45 or you're screwed" and I thought I was going to be late and rushed there and it was only 5:35 or something. Just so you know, people were still coming in well after 5:45 (it says starts at 6 but need to be there 5:45) so I'm just like what so it is okay to be late after all why do I even try (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻
THEN I tore my new stockings before the thing even started. Good going me, good going. This is why I never wear stockings that aren't thick and black seriously... Also the sticky label on the chairs that tell you what number the seat is got stuck to me as well and yeah I didn't notice how embarrassing (￣ー￣) Only good thing was that even though they said we'd finish at 7:15 we actually finished half an hour early. HELL YEAH nothing like the feeling of finishing something early!!!
Man some people are so smart, people going up and getting 4 awards. And there are also awards for getting HD in an essay in a particular subject which is so weird. Or awards for getting 85 or above in an essay on particular topics eg. pigs or sheep. So if you want an award does that mean you should write it well and pick those animals? Because some animals won't give you an award eg. cow (didn't hear an award for that one).
There was a cocktail reception afterwards, but since we finished early I think they hadn't really brought the food out yet. I had something orange coloured, not sure if there was alcohol in it but maybe, since my mum said her face felt hot a bit later (and she drank what I drank). I also saw the guy at the bar making the drink for someone else which appeared to be 98% champagne, then something orange poured into it to give it the colour so maybe that's what I drank? Anyway I only saw rice paper rolls and salmon sashimi being brought out as we left cause dad was in a real hurry to go and get real dinner lol.
But then this is where the night gets WEIRD. I was waiting for my parents while they went to the bathroom then these two WEIRD students came up to me and the girl was like "WHAT'S UP!" and I thought she was just having a bit of fun as she came up to me and hugged me and I was like okay I'll go along with this... She turns to the guy and is like see I get all the girls! Then the guy with her was like "no" and hugged me as well x_x They must have been having some weirdass competition and I thought that would be it but
After she leaves to go to the toilet the guy hugs me again??? And then he called me cute and whipped out his phone and asked for my number so we could "hang" and I refused and he's just like whyyy and by now I'm just wth go away (´-_-｀) Thankfully my parents came back out and I could finally leave but FML WHY DO ALL THE WEIRD THINGS HAPPEN TO ME. I'm just going to chalk it up to the fact that they were probably drunk since they were holding a glass of something or other. Ugh. Next time I'm just going to give a random number out though that would be rude to the unfortunate soul whose number gets randomly picked by me. Ugh got hugged 3 times by some random whose name I don't even know *shudder*
Then we had an nice dinner and got home at around 9 and I got to play games :D Man this morning when I left at 8 all I could think about was how I wouldn't get home for more than 12 hours T^T
