Well this assignment is driving me insane and why did they have to make it 25%. The dropbox didn't even open for me and I had to call them up and they had to get the techs to fix the link x_x Progress is at 2009/3500 words but that's me including my figures and tables but word limit is 3500 without counting figures and tables... (meaning I'm even further away from the limit)

 I'm seeing all these interesting events on the internet which are in Japan in Nov/Dec/Jan and I'm totally not jealous at all, totally... sobs

 Anyway on Thursday(?) I played the piano for like an hour for the first time in over a year and my right wrist died. So weak. Also I was playing super poorly (what do you expect when you haven't played in so long) and took me ages to figure out it's because I kept trying to "read" the book but it confused my body and it turns out I can just remember how to play it without reading the book. I'm not sure if what I just said makes sense. But anyway, yeah these were songs I practised for pretty much a year in order to pass those grade exams so I guess that's how my hands remember them even though all this time has passed.

 I made chocolate chip cookies last Friday too (I was too lazy to make anything more complex) as a kind of "relaxing" bonus for finishing off the last ever marine bio report we had to do. Usually my family doesn't really say much about my cooking/baking and just eat it pretty silently but apparently while I was at work on Saturday my sister told my mum my cookies tasted really good?? 

 And so I was basically a little shocked firstly because my sister is usually the last person to say anything about my food and secondly, because I feel like they don't taste like anything special. If anything, I feel like all the food I make now tastes worse than a couple of years ago (I don't know why). And my mum also said they were way better than store bought. 

End bonus: my mum didn't eat the cookies on Friday because she thought I was giving them to my students on Saturday lol.
