next time I'll be prepared

So yesterday I'm in an annoyingly super crowded parking lot trying to find a space. After a good 15 mins I finally found a car about to leave so I indicate and wait for it to come out, and there are two cars behind me. As the car I'm waiting on pulls out, the car that's two cars behind me, pulls up on the right, indicates for MY spot and blocks me off???? I open my window to stare/glare at him and he shrugs, points at the spot as if it's his, points at another car which happens to be leaving on the right (therefore freeing up another spot) as if that spot should be mine.

I was infuriated to say the least. You can go "why does it matter, you got a spot" but it's not about that. He took my spot, and that "new" spot should belong to the person behind me, NOT him. Stupid middle aged man green P plater.

I got home and told my dad the story and expressed my annoyance that I didn't have spray paint in my car or something, cause I would have sprayed that stupid man's car if I did. Typical parent's reaction?

Normal parent: You can't say things like that, why are you so spiteful. What's done is done.

Dad: You should have just keyed his car, would've taught him a lesson. TMy spot got stolen twice before and the second time I was prepared, because I kept two nails in my car.

Just listening to my dad made me feel much better, thanks dad for totally understanding :D Sometimes I feel like we are really on the same wavelength and for some reason that's a really comforting thing?

So Camden (farm) days are fun but it's so far away. Normally to get to city campus it's about 35km by train but to get to Camden it's 53km so every time I have class it's 106km round trip... And I can't even sleep since I have to drive there orz

The other week was fun because we got to take blood samples from fish. You have to aim for the spine (can be difficult) then go up a bit and draw blood from the caudal vein. Got too excited that I found the right spot and almost took out too much haha. Feel sorry for the fish though because they were grown for us and then the week after the blood sampling they were euthanised so we could do necropsies... which I totally suck at woops.
